  1. Walk the house first.We check the siding, note any loose panels or old damage, and close the windows.
  2. Protect what should stay dry.Plants and beds get wet down and covered where needed. Outlets and fixtures get bagged.
  3. Apply the soft wash cleaner.A low-pressure mix that kills the algae and mold, not just knocks it off the surface.
  4. Let it work.Ten to fifteen minutes of dwell time. The green stuff dies where it sits.
  5. Rinse at garden-hose pressure.Top to bottom. No high pressure near vinyl, so nothing lifts, bubbles, or takes on water.
  6. Rinse the plants again and walk it with you.You look at the line where the dirty stopped.
  7. Most houses: two to four hours. The result usually holds two to three years.

Roof cleaning

  1. Inspect from the ground and the ladder.Those black streaks are algae feeding on the shingle. We check for loose or worn spots before anything gets wet.
  2. Protect the landscaping.Beds get soaked and covered. Downspouts get diverted so the runoff goes where we want it.
  3. Apply the roof cleaner at low pressure.The mix the shingle makers themselves recommend. No pressure washer touches the roof.
  4. Let it kill the growth.The streaks fade as it works. Heavy spots get a second pass.
  5. Rinse gently, or let the rain do it.Shingle granules stay where they belong. Some streaks keep fading for a few weeks after.
  6. Rinse the plants and clear the gutters of what came down.
  7. Half a day for most roofs. Expect three to five years before the streaks come back.

Pavers

Cleaned, re-sanded, sealed. Color back, weeds gone.

  1. Clear and pre-treat.Furniture off, weeds and moss in the joints killed first so they do not come straight back.
  2. Surface clean.A flat surface cleaner strips the grime evenly. No stripes, no blown-out joints.
  3. Lift the stains.Rust, grease, and leaf stains get their own treatment before the sand goes in.
  4. Dry, then re-sand the joints.Polymeric sand swept in, packed down with a plate compactor, and misted to lock it. It hardens and keeps weeds and ants out.
  5. Seal.A breathable sealer that brings the color back and stops the next few years of staining. Wet look or natural, your call.
  6. Two days for most patios. Stay off it for 24 hours after sealing.

Decks and fences

Gray boards, fresh wood again.

  1. Check the wood.Loose boards, popped nails, and old stain all change how we clean it.
  2. Apply a wood cleaner.It loosens the gray, dead fibers and the mildew without bleaching the wood.
  3. Rinse at low pressure, with the grain.A wide tip and a light hand. Blasting wood leaves fuzz and stripe marks that never come out.
  4. Brighten.A wood brightener neutralizes the cleaner and brings the natural color back. This is the fresh-wood step.
  5. Dry, then stain or seal if you want it.Two dry days first. We can do the finish or hand it back ready for you.
  6. Most decks and fences: one afternoon to clean, plus drying time before any finish.

Driveways and walks

Concrete that looks poured last week.

  1. Sweep and pre-treat.Oil spots get a degreaser and time to work. Mold and algae get the same cleaner the house does.
  2. Surface clean at full pressure.Concrete can take it. A rotary surface cleaner keeps the finish even with no wand stripes.
  3. Edges and stains by hand.Along the garage, the walk edges, and any spot the machine cannot reach.
  4. Rinse everything off the lawn and beds.The dirty water goes where it should, and the plants get a fresh rinse.
  5. Seal if you want it.Optional, but it keeps the next oil spot from soaking in.
  6. A two-car driveway takes about two hours. Concrete looks its best a day later, once it dries fully.

Shrink wrapping

Boats, furniture, anything that has to make it through winter.

  1. Measure and prep.We size the wrap to the boat or the pile, pad every sharp corner, and make sure everything underneath is clean and dry.
  2. Build the frame.A support pole and strapping create a peak so snow and rain slide off instead of pooling.
  3. Drape and belly-band.The film goes over the frame and a strap around the hull pulls it tight before any heat.
  4. Heat-seal.A heat gun shrinks the film drum-tight and welds every seam. No tape, no flapping.
  5. Vent it.Vents on every wrap so moisture escapes. That is the difference between a dry boat in spring and a moldy one.
  6. Add a zipper door if you need one.So you can get in over the winter without cutting it open.
  7. About an hour for most boats, at your driveway, your yard, or your slip. Every wrap gets recycled in spring.

  • We do not put high pressure on siding. Houses get a soft wash: low pressure and a cleaner that kills the algae. The pressure washer is for concrete and pavers.

  • Yes, done the right way. Older siding, old paint, and original windows get the lowest pressure we have and a close look before anything gets wet. If a surface should not be washed, we tell you instead of washing it.

  • Most house washes in Monmouth and Ocean land in a few hundred dollars. Send a photo or an address and you get a real number before we book anything. That number does not change on the day.

  • Fully licensed and insured, and we can send the certificate before we start.

  • Yes. We wet down the beds before and rinse after, and the cleaner we use is pet safe once rinsed.

  • Not much. Close the windows, move the cars off the driveway, and pull anything off the deck or patio that you do not want wet. We handle the plants, the outlets, and the rest.

  • A typical house is two to four hours. Pavers and roofs can take a day.

  • Most houses around here go two to three years between washes. Shady north sides and homes near the water grow the green stuff faster, so those can need it every year or two. Roofs usually go three to five.
